Prishtina, 06 May 2026, dtt-net.com – Eight members of Serbian forces are indicted today by Kosovan prosecution on charges of war crimes against ethnic Albanian civilians during the 1998-1999 war of independence from Serbia.
According to the indictment, the defendants, from 24.03.1999 to 31.03.1999, in the city of Gjakova, “during a large-scale operation, acting in complicity and in coordination with police, military and paramilitary structures, committed murder, expulsion of the civilian population, destruction and looting of their property.”
