Prishtina, 10 August 2026, dtt-net.com – Members of two opposition parties say street protests are being considered to press caretaker Prime Minister Albin Kurti constitute Parliament after June 7 early elections, after two adjournments of the session following failure for a compromise for a new President.
Daut Haradinaj of the Alliance for Future of Kosovo (AAK) and Mergim Lushtaku of the Democratic party (PDK) say street protests are the remaining option for the opposition, as Kurti and his Vetevendosje (LVV) party continue refusing to constitute parliament even after the 30-day constitutional deadline passed on August 7.
