Prishtina/Brussels, 25 July 2023, dtt-net.com – While Kosovan officials say that the European Commission (EC) should lift its punitive measures first and then new municipal elections take place in the four Serb-predominantly northern municipalities, the EU executive body says that Kosovo government should take “further positive steps” to de-escalate tensions, but refuses to clarify what exactly Prishtina authorities should additionally do before it decides to lift political and financial measures introduced last month.
