Brussels, 17 March 2026, dtt-net.com – The European Commission (EC) today confirmed of having lifted all financial sanctions on Kosovo, which were imposed three years ago amid tensions in Serb-predominantly northern municipalities.
The head of the EC unit for Kosovo, Jiri Plecity, told members of the European Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee (AFET) that the EC has released all financial assistance to Kosovo after starting lifting sanctions in September.
