Podgorica, 06 May 2025, dtt-net.com – The European Commission (EC) said that parts of tourism and real estate agreement between the Montenegro Prime Minister Milojko Spajic and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which relate to public procurement is in breach of EU law as well as Montenegro’s Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA), as it exempts Montenegrin and UE companies from open competition and offers preferential treatment of companies from the UAE in implementation of projects.
