EU Commissioner reiterates call to North Macedonia to make constitutional changes imposed by Bulgaria, and several reform laws too

Brussels, 24 March 2026, dtt-net.com – The European Commissioner in charge of enlargement of the bloc, Marta Kos, yesterday has reiterated EU calls to the Parliament of North Macedonia to include Bulgarian community in its Constitution which is a pre-condition since 2022 for the country to open membership negotiations. The call was made during the meeting of her with Macedonian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Timco Mucunski, in Brussels, according to an EU Commission official.
