Skopje/Brussels, 22 January 2024, dtt-net.com – Kosovan Prime Minister Albin Kurti today said that the European Union should not keep “hostage” Kosovo’s accession process into the European bloc with the process of “normalization” of relations with Serbia, a country which he says doesn’t like much the West nor democracy.
“I always stress that the process of Kosovo’s accession in the European Union should be separated from the process of normalizing relations with Serbia. I understand that the European Union has good neighbourhood relations at the core of enlargement, but they should also understand us that it is not easy to normalize relations with someone who does not like much the West nor democracy,” Kurti said today in a press conference in North Macedonia’s capital Skopje.
