The Hague/Prishtina, 09 February 2026, dtt-net.com – Prosecution of The Hague-based special war crimes court on Kosovo today said that four former leaders of the now disbanded Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), including former President Hashim, are guilty of war crimes and sough 45 years of imprisonment for each of them.
The Special Prosecution Office (SPO) of Specialist Chambers said Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi should be sentenced on charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity during the 1998-1999 war for independence from Serbia, which all four deny.
