Brussels, 19 June 2025, dtt-net.com – The European Commission (EC) says that according to its legislative proposal of this week to member countries to phase out Russian gas imports by late 2027, the Russian gas from Bulgaria can reach Serbia’s territory, as a non-EU member.
But from Serbia it cannot flow to Hungary, as the proposal does not apply to non-EU countries, but only to 27 member states, according to the EC spokesperson Anna-Kaisa Itkonen.
