Belgrade, 13 September 2026, dtt-net.com - The army of Serbia today held an exercise, at “Pešter" polygon near Buđevo village of Sjenica municipality near the border with Montenegro, showing its military muscles through new domestically made modern weaponry, beside modernising conventional ones, on top of modern weaponry purchases from China, Russia, Israel, United Arab Emirates, and France too, in recent years.
During the exercise attended by the outgoing President and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces Aleksandar Vučić, Minister of Defense Bratislav Gašić and Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces General Milan Mojsilović, the army used “robotic and unmanned systems, including robot dogs and various types of drones,” according to a press release by the ministry of defence.
