Hamm, 31 May 2026, dtt-net.com – Thousands attended a protest yesterday in German town of Hamm against government plans to construct up to 40 gas-fired electricity plants, in a rally organized by environmentalist associations who call for more wind and solar farms to generate electricity instead of fossil source of energy.
Organizers said around 5000 people demonstrated in Hamm with 2000 of them forming a human figure with a moving windmill in front of the RWE Gersteinwerk gas-fired power plant.
