Skopje, 18 May 2026, dtt-net.com – Thousands gathered today in North Macedonia capital in a peacefull protest called by country’s Albanian students and joined by compatriots from Kosovo and Albania in support of ongoing calls for taking post-study exams for professional licences in Albanian language and limited use across public sector despite existing amended law on us of languages since 2018.
“Stop to institutional discrimination,” one of the banners held by participants said, at the second protest since last month, which was launched following refusal by Macedonian Minister of Justice Igor Filkoc to allow Albanian students take bar exam in their mother tongue.
