Washington/Belgrade/Prishtina, 09 January 2023, dtt-net.com – The United States Department of State said in press release the its Counselor Derek Chollet will travel this week to Belgrade and Prishtina to “discuss U.S. efforts to help advance Kosovo’s and Euro-Atlantic integration, including through the EU-facilitated Dialogue to achieve a comprehensive agreement on normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia, centered on mutual recognition”, despite recent statements by his colleagues and diplomats that a deal with mutual recognition is not possible at this stage because of Serbia’s refusal to recognize Kosovo’s independence.
