Sarajevo, 30 June 2026, dtt-net.com – EU countries, UK and the USA Tuesday agreed to appoint an Acting High representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) as temporary one until they find a compromise for new high Representative, as they continue disputing over two candidates for the post, following resignation of German diplomat Christian Schmidt from the position.
According to a statement from the OHR, governments of the Peace Implementation Council (PIC) vowed to solve their differences for a new envoy until mid-July.
