Prishtina/Belgrade, 13 July 2025, dtt-net.com – The USA Senior Bureau Official at the State Department, Brendan Hanrahan, was in Bosnia Herzegovina (BiH), Serbia and Kosovo from Thursday to Saturday, the first visit of a Washington official in the Western Balkans region since Trump administration took office in January.
During the visit to BiH, after meeting top BiH officials, Hanrahan Friday attended the 30th anniversary of commemoration of Srebrenica Genocide at the Potocari memorial centre, while Saturday in Serbia he met with authoritarian President Aleksandar Vucic, and in Kosovo with the caretaker Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
