Berlin, 29 May 2026, dtt-net.com – The government of Germany today announced a total of €1.3 billion of grants to three Denmark companies for production of 78,000 tons per year of green hydrogen in Danish facilities for German market.
The Ministry of Economy and Energy said deliveries to the German market of the renewable energy source from facilities in Vejen, Kassø, and Esbjerg is planned to begin in 2031 and be injected into the “Danish Hydrogen Backbone 1” pipeline and delivered to Germany customers connected to the German core network which is currently under construction.
