Prishtina/Brussels, 16 April 2026, dtt-net.com – The European Union has started today transferring first part of money to Kosovo from bloc’s new fund for the Western Balkans region amid ratification of related agreements for reforms by Kosovan parliament.
“Following the ratification of the Growth Plan-related Agreements by the Kosovo Assembly and the submission of the necessary documentation by the Government, the European Commission has started transferring EUR 61.8 million to Kosovo in pre-financing under the Growth Plan’s Reform and Growth Facility, providing an important incentive to advance reforms,” the EU office in Prishtina said in a joint press release with the government of the Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
