Prishtina, 01 March 2026, dtt-net.com – Five Serbs suspected of war crimes during the 1998-1999 Kosovo war of independence from Serbia were arrested today morning by the police on the orders of the prosecutor’s office.
“Kosovo Police, in close coordination with the Special Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kosovo, has successfully carried out the police operation coded ‘SYRIGANA’, which resulted in the arrest of five (5) persons suspected of war crimes against the civilian population,” the police and the special prosecution of Kosovo said today in a joint press release.
