Montenegro coastal town’s land “is not a commodity”, Albanian Mayor tells UAE businessman

Podgorica, 14 May 2025, dtt-net.com – The Mayor of Montenegro southern coastal town of Ulcinj, Genci Nimanbegu, tells the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Mohamed Alabbar, in a letter, that his plans with Montenegro’s Prime Minister Milojko Spajic for investments in Great Beach against the will of municipality’s authorities and inhabitants “will be met with a decisive institutional and social response,” as the Ulcinj’s land “is not a commodity”.
