NATO General meets Serbia-backed party over disagreements related to troops posture

Prishtina, 11 August 2026, dtt-net.com - The Commander of the NATO-led Kosovo Force (KFOR) mission, Major General Özkan Ulutaş, met Tuesday with representatives of Serbia-backed Serb List party, amid disagreement of the latter over KFOR plans to gradually scale back troops presence at the main bridge which divides northern town of Mitrovica and more participation of Kosovo police in security measures related, including integration of Kosovo police in security measures together with KFOR at Decan Monastery area in west of the country.
