Montenegro PM goes ahead with contested deal with UAE despite tensions with opposition over beach in Albanian-predominantly town

Podgorica, 17 April 2025, dtt-net.com – Montenegro government and its parliamentary majority today included in the agenda of legislative body’s session the contested tourism and real estate deal with United Arab Emirates (UAE) signed by the Prime Minister Milojko Spajic, despite disagreements and tensions with opposition parties over projects which aim to hand over part of the beach in the Albanian-predominantly town of Ulcinj to UAE private companies.
