Brussels, 30 October 2024, dtt-net.com – The European Commission (EC) in its annual report presented today recalled Serbia’s refusal to join EU sanctions on Russia over military aggression against Ukraine and expressed criticism to Belgrade maintaining strong ties with Russia and China, thus “raising questions about Serbia’s strategic direction”, but at the same time it recommends to member states to open more negotiating chapters in ongoing membership negotiations.
