Brussels, 10 May 2023, dtt-net.com – EU mediators Josep Borrell and Miroslav Lajcak, as well as European Commissioner Oliver Varhelyi see a Serbia-designed new draft for what is called “Association of Serb-majority Municipalities” (ASM) for ten Serb-predominantly municipalities in Kosovo as “starting point for further discussions” of Belgrade with Kosovan government for more special autonomous powers for the minority, while disregarding Kosovo prime minister’s ideas based on Croatia model of rights for minorities, both made earlier this month.
